The BC Professional Teaching standards are the basic guidelines future teachers should abide by. These guidelines are in place to ensure the wellness of teachers, colleagues, students, and families. By keeping these standards in mind, it is setting teachers and all people included in the school environment for a positive and successful teaching/learning experience. I value the emphasis on inclusivity, professionalism, and respect; therefore, I will continue to fall back onto these standards for guidance during my career as an educator.
